Joining Hands – Api Foundation & SSC in Vietnam
Sri Lankan Sports Club (SSC) in Vietnam, and The Api Foundation Sri Lanka share a common goal of raising living standards in Sri Lanka communities.

Inspired by the difficulties faced by some of the the communities in Sri Lanka, only intensified by the current economic crisis, SSC-Vietnam and Api-Foundation’s partnership demonstrates the Sri Lankan expatriate community‘s desire to provide financial and moral support to these fellow citizens back at home in Sri Lanka, under the ongoing project of Api Foundation, named “Diviyata Saviyak“.

DIVIYATA SAVIYAK
As Sri Lanka is facing its worst economic crisis since independence, according to Hanke’s inflation score, the country has reached the top 2 positions in the rank with the current inflation rate surpassing 61%. With food inflation crossing 74% as of the month of November 2022, the low affordability of essential foods impacts the majority of the masses.
Under Diviyata-Saviyak, we are distributing essential ration packs amongst families affected by the current economic crisis in Sri Lanka.
Dry ration packs distribution project (Diviyata Saviyak, December 2022) – Sri Lanka Sports Club in Vietnam
As an initial outcome of the partnership, we have distributed 60 dry ration packs worth Rs. 300,000/-, to the underprivileged, on 20th December 2022, in the ‘St. Padre Pio’s Shrine church’ at Athurugiriya.
